Theatre Ad Infinitum’s Ballad of the Burning Star makes its North American premiere this week, from May 19-24 at The Theatre Centre (1115 Queen St. West), starring an international cast of performers from the UK, Israel, Austria, Japan and Canada. Ballad of the Burning Star features Star, a bold drag queen, and five of her back-up Starlets as they tell the story of a boy named Israel growing up surrounded by the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
