Jonathan Corkal is a music director, accompanist, and actor. He is a proud graduate of Sheridan College’s Honours Bach. in Music Theatre Performance, is a recent RBC Apprentice Music Supervisor, and is on staff at George Brown College. An avid supporter of new works, he has worked on the development of several new musicals, both on the music team and as a performer. Recent credits include music assistant with Musical Stage on RePrint; Dr. Silver: A Celebration of Life; UnCovered: Joni Mitchell & Carole King; music director on Spring Fever (Smile Theatre), Hair (Hart House); and assoc. music director on Heathers (Hart House) and Polly Peel (Toronto Fringe). Originally from Saskatoon, he currently resides in Toronto with his cat, Chloe. Jonathan is a proud half-Latino and is forever thankful for to his family in Chile and Canada for their support – saludos y abrazos a todos! He is incredibly excited to be a part of the Musical Stage team.
