OVERVIEW

ONE SONG GLORY is a fully subsidized four-weekend long youth musical theatre training intensive that builds community, self-confidence, and self-expression through a combination of new music creation, masterclasses, rehearsal, and a public showcase.

Our goal is to offer performing and non-performing participants a professional creation and rehearsal experience, insight about the industry, the chance to create new work, and the guidance to develop a fruitful career in the performing arts.

Since its creation ONE SONG GLORY has been held in person in Toronto, offering Ontario teens a place to create, perform and celebrate their shared love of musical theatre. In 2021 we introduced “OSG in the Classrooms”, an opportunity for young people in schools across Canada to receive free workshops in their classrooms and studios from local, high-achieving, professional artists.

We are proud to report that to date, over 900 young Canadians have completed ONE SONG GLORY, without any cost to the participants. Past participants are now gracing international stages and Canadian concert halls including Broadway and the Stratford and Shaw Festivals.

With ONE SONG GLORY youth will come together to train and create under the guidance of theatre professionals in a positive and encouraging environment.
