OVERVIEW
ONE SONG GLORY is a fully subsidized, four-weekend, in-person musical theatre training intensive for youth that builds community, self-confidence, and self-expression through masterclasses, musical theatre performance training, and performance presentations.
Our goal is to offer participants aged 13–19 a professional rehearsal environment, insight into the industry, opportunities to engage with new works, and guidance to help them build a fruitful career in the performing arts.
We are thrilled to offer the program once again in 2026, growing our community of young performers, and giving students from across Ontario access to fully subsidized training led by the country’s leading musical artists.
We are proud to report that, to date, over 1,000 young Canadians have completed ONE SONG GLORY, without any cost to the participants. Past participants are now gracing international stages and Canadian concert halls including Broadway and the Stratford and Shaw Festivals.
With ONE SONG GLORY, youth will come together to train and grow under the guidance of theatre professionals in a positive and encouraging environment.

AUDITION GUIDELINES
What to Bring/Prepare
Song Selection
Please prepare 32 bars or up to 2 minutes of one musical theatre song. Please bring sheet music for the accompanist or choose to sing with a track. An accompanist will be provided. You may accompany yourself if comfortable.
How to Prepare Sheet Music
Place your sheet music in a binder for the accompanist. You can either print it double-sided and hole-punch it, or tape single-sided pages back-to-back and then hole-punch them. This helps the accompanist read your music clearly and turn pages smoothly.
What to Bring to Your Audition
If you are auditioning in person, please bring physical copies of your headshot and résumé. If you don’t have professional materials, a clear printed photo with your name and any relevant experience is perfectly acceptable — no need to purchase professional photos.
If Sending a Track
If you are singing in-person to a backing track, please send the track to outreach@musicalstagecompany.com in advance of your audition so we can play it in the room for you.
Video Submission Option
On a case-by-case basis, we are also accepting video submissions until 10am on January 9th, 2026. Please record yourself in landscape (horizontally) singing 32 bars or 2 minutes of a musical theatre song. You may sing to a track, have someone accompany you, or accompany yourself. Please state your name and where you are from at the start of the tape. Please email your video link (no files) to outreach@musicalstagecompany.com.
