Where is UnCovered taking place?

The in-person UnCovered: The Music of Abba, will be taking place at Koerner Hall, on Bloor St West, near St. George Subway Station. The Hall is a part of the Royal Conservatory of Music and Boasts wrap-around oak ribboning for the ultimate acoustics experience.

What is the capacity of the venue?

The seating capacity of Koerner Hall is 1135.

What about the safety risks of an indoor in-person event?

We are committed to bringing you inspiring live music and performance, in a way that is safe and responsible. The Musical Stage Company and the Royal Conservatory of Music are following all Health Canada, Public Health Ontario, and Toronto Public Health guidelines, and implementing all recommendations, for the safety of our audience, our cast, and our crew members. 

 

If the provincial government decides that it is no longer safe to hold this event due to health risks, the event will be postponed and tickets will be refunded.

Where can I buy tickets?

Tickets to the In-person UnCovered: The Music of Abba will be available entirely through the Royal Conservatory of Music’s own Box Office, beginning September 6.

REFUND POLICY

All sales are final, except if you are feeling unwell on the day of the concert. If you are feeling sick or unwell on the day of the concert please contact The Royal Conservatory Box Office for an exchange or refund of your ticket.  You can contact 416.408.0208.

Live Captions

Each performance of UNCOVERED: THE MUSIC OF ABBA will be captioned live via CART (Communication Access Realtime Translation). Audience members will be able to access the captions from within the theatre on their personal smartphone by connecting to free wifi and scanning a QR code to access the captioning feed. There will also be tablets available to check out from The Musical Stage Company for those who would prefer to view their captions at their seat on a larger screen.

Koerner Hall Accessible Seating

The patron seating can accommodate 9 persons seated in wheelchairs or using other mobility devices (scooters, walkers). In Koerner Hall accessible seating locations, patrons can remain in their mobility device or transfer to theater seats. Patrons who cannot, or do not wish to transfer to a theatre seat, should request accessible seat locations when ordering tickets.

Folding arm rests are available in orchestra level row A and B both aisle seats and Lower Balcony, Row E both aisle seats.

Quiet Room in Koerner Hall

A quiet room in Koerner Hall, separated from the audience, for people with sensory considerations, those on the autism spectrum, ADD/ADHD, or a learning disability is available to patrons upon request. Concerts are watched through a glass window, with controllable volume. Assistive listening devices

Listening devices are available on loan, with no charge, for any Koerner Hall presentation. To request an assistive listening device, please contact Accessibility Manager Alethea Bakogeorge at at aletheabakogeorge@musicalstagecompany.com, or by phone at (416) 927-7880 ext. 226 or ask an usher upon arrival.

Mobility Assistive Devices

Royal Conservatory ushers will check mobility assistive devices at the back of the theatre, when patrons reach their seats and will return them upon request, or during breaks in the performance and at the end of the performance.

Courtesy Wheelchairs

For patrons who require assistance travelling within the building, (please note: for those patrons with mobility limitations, it is a fair walking distance from the box office to your seat), the Royal Conservatory offers wheelchairs on loan which are subject to availability. Patrons who know in advance that they would like to reserve a wheelchair for their concert-going visit can either email or call the box office, prior to the event. When you arrive, please come to the box office and our staff will be happy to bring a wheelchair to you and provide entrance to seat service, when requested. Because of liability issues, Royal Conservatory staff can not accompany patrons outside of the building.

Service Animals

Accredited service animals are welcome; please advise the box office when ordering your tickets to ensure a suitable seat is reserved.

Food and Beverage

For barrier free food and beverage service, Royal Conservatory food and beverage personnel will make an effort to approach persons using mobility devices to place their orders.  Please let our staff know if assistance is required.
