Frequently Asked Questions

GENERAL

What is UnCovered?

Now in its 15th edition, UNCOVERED is The Musical Stage Company’s annual signature concert event. Normally held solely at Koerner Hall in Toronto, UnCovered: The Music of Dolly Parton offered a live in-person performance run at Koerner Hall, and will be available entirely online from November 24th – December 11th, 2021 (with a bonus event on December 30th).

The 90 minute, UnCovered Digital Experience will showcase the professionally filmed, recorded, and beautifully edited film that was recorded during the in-person Dolly experience.

On the evening of your performance you will join a Zoom room with the other patrons from your performance date and a Musical Stage Company Representative. There, we will welcome you to the UnCovered Digital Experience, treat you to a live 3-song, acoustic performance by one of our featured artists, and then transfer you over to the digital theatre where you can watch the UnCovered film.

UnCovered: The Music of Dolly Parton (2021) ran live September 30th – October 2nd, at its long-time home venue Koerner Hall – where we welcomed small, socially-distanced audiences of 175 guests per performance. The live concert experience has been filmed, capturing the breathtaking grandeur of Koerner Hall, and will be presented digitally alongside special live performances to patrons from November 24th – December 11th, 2021 (with a bonus event on December 30th).

What is the difference between UnCovered In-Person, and the Digital UnCovered Experience?

UnCovered: The Music of Dolly Parton (2021) ran live September 30th – October 2nd, at its long-time home venue Koerner Hall – where we welcomed small, socially-distanced audiences of 175 guests per performance. The live concert experience has been filmed, capturing the breathtaking grandeur of Koerner Hall. The Digital Experience will begin at 8:00PM (EST) with a virtual lobby on Zoom, where a Musical Stage Company representative will welcome you to UNCOVERED, and treat you to a 3-song, live, acoustic performance by one of our featured artists. Then we will transfer you over to the digital theatre where you can view the UNCOVERED film.
