The Musical Stage Company & Harbourfront Centre welcome Jack Viertel, Senior Vice President of Jujamcyn Theaters and Artistic Director of the New York City Center’s Encores! Series, to Toronto to offer a free masterclass to musical theatre creators. Widely considered one of the leading experts in musical theatre dramaturgy and the author of the ground-breaking novel ‘The Secret Life of the American Musical’, Viertel will share his thoughts and experience on musical structure and creation.
