Announcing the departure of Co-Executive Director Kate Supleve

It is with deep gratitude and admiration that we share the news that Kate Supleve will be stepping down from her role as Co-Executive Director of The Musical Stage Company. In her 6 years at The Musical Stage Company, Kate has made a profound and lasting impact in her time through her visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to supporting new Canadian musicals. As Co-Executive Director, she has brought a high level of strategic planning, fostered a creative and flexible work environment, and helped shape some of the company’s most ambitious and meaningful productions. Kate’s legacy is one of heart, dedication, and transformative collaboration, and she will be missed.

While we are sad to see her go, we are also incredibly excited for what lies ahead for Kate in her next chapter. She will always be a part of the MSC family, and we look forward to cheering her on in all that’s to come. Please join us in wishing her all the best in her next exciting adventure!

These last 6 years have been absolutely transformative for me, both personally and professionally and I’m endlessly grateful to The Musical Stage Company. Thank you to Megan Deeks and our Board of Directors, the artists whose work inspires me daily, the team and community who make this work happen and to Paul for dreaming big with me keeping me laughing every day. I look forward to continuing to support Musical Stage into its very exciting next chapter and can’t wait to see what’s in store.
